Update on the twins....

I went into the doctor yesterday and they are doing well. I would post the pictures but they are kind of blurry and I don't think you would be able to see much of anything. They are still measuring the same. Currently they are each 2 inches long...you wouldn't think that if you could see how huge I am getting. One is laying vertical and the other is horizontal. Also, she said that if they are cooperating she should be able to tell me if they are boys, girls, or one of each at the next appointment (in a month). I feel like there is so much to prepare. Knowing what they are would give me at least something to think about. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

My Quirks....

So a few of my friends have done this and I have been challenged to provide my list...I must add that a few of these are influenced HEAVILY by my pregnancy AND most deal with food....hopefully that will change. :)

#1 - The smell of butter or any substitute makes me dry heave. We will just leave it there...I don't think you need the play by play.

#2 - I like my garments folded a certain way...which poor Andrew has yet adapted to after ALMOST 9 YEARS....I guess we really can't change the men in our life. :)

#3 - I DO NOT clean toilets. (I should specify that I do not clean the boy's toilet. I figure if they aren't going to make sure it ends up where it belongs I will not be the one wiping it up.)

#4 - I don't think floors are really clean unless you scrub them with a brush on your hands and knees...hence why my floors are so dirty. :)

#5 - Meat tends to gross me out (no hamburgers, most chicken, hot dogs, etc.)...especially if it is fragrant....again the pregnancy thing.

#6 - Last of all the quirk that Andrew always teases me about....I am ALWAYS thinking about food and what sounds good. Sometimes I know that I can't even have it because it is say 11PM but can't a girl talk about it? (Secret desire - that really isn't so secret because I have told a few people - I can't wait for it to snow because lately I have REALLY been craving snow...I know that is gross and who knows what is in it but if you see me in my yard on a snowy day look the other way. :) )

Gehrig and "his baby"....

You know how when you are pregnant your kids notice stuff and you don't even know it. Soon they are mimicking you and the next thing you know all of you are "pregnant". When I was pregnant with Gehrig, Satchel use to pretend to run to the bathroom to throw up. With Emma it was all about listening to each other's tummies to hear the "baby". This time Gehrig has created a new twist.

This morning he began holding his stomach. When I asked what was going on he said that "something" was kicking inside him. Later he said, "I think it is my baby." I tried to explain that only women get that privilege and he was absolutely convinced that I was wrong because he had "a baby teddy bear in there". Then I said how exciting it is going to be for Daddy when he gets home to find two "pregnant" people. Gehrig then said that it was okay to tell Dad, but not to tell Satchel because it is going to be a surprise. :)
