Stretch marks…

Please only continue if you are comfortable with the above mentioned topic. I will not be showing pictures or describing it in depth…most of all just venting. :)

So I am officially 31 weeks (and counting if you must know). Things are getting pretty tight in my big round belly. It has actually gotten to the point where I don’t go to the store anymore really because just walking through it and I can’t breathe. Not to worry though that I am not getting the required oxygen because I called the doctor and they say that is perfectly normal…it still sounds “not normal” to me but they figure that the babies are just taking up the room that was meant for my lungs and not to be concerned.

That isn’t really why I decided to do this post though….back to the subject. So far I have accepted that stretch marks a part of life (especially with my genes and this many kids). It hasn’t gotten too bad. They have reared their ugly head a time or two but nothing too serious. I have been trying to be good and keep myself hydrated and what do I find this morning? I wake up with 4 new stretch marks. FOUR! Couldn’t they give me some time to adjust? No. I guess it is just good that I don’t plan on wearing any revealing clothes or even a bathing suit this year that doesn’t resemble a scuba diving suit. I am really trying to be patient but if it gets to point that it appears that I have had open heart surgery or “scars” on my neck I am going to get upset and have to do something. :)

I'm sorry. :( I think stretch marks are just satans way of making us not enjoy being pregnant, ya know or just the extra room those sweet babies need. :) If it makes you feel better I still have stretch marks and Emma is almost 17 months.

What a trooper you are! Sorry about the stretch marks... why can't we just stay the same?!

I also wanted to let you know that Carter has been BEGGING me to play with Emma. Ok, he can't talk but we would love to have some playmates over. Also, I run to the store almost every day it seems. Call me if you need me to pick something (aka slurpees) up for you. Chances are that I am on my way to the store anyway.

P.S. I have some cocoa butter lotion and Tucks pads that I got for free with coupons. I will bring them to you.

I'm sure you look great. Post a picture. I am sure you are hating me right now for asking because I was when people asked me :) I looked huge and only had one baby. Just look at my posts last year at this time, HUGE!! Kids, you gotta love them or we wouldn't do this right :)
