So, I went into the doctor today for my first check-up for this new baby. If you didn't know that I am pregnant...sorry. :) Anyhow, the doctor did the ultrasound and was REALLY quiet. Normally she talks with me the whole time. Finally after switching around she says, "I feel like I should tell you that you aren't having one baby. You are having TWO." My response is of course, "ARE YOU SERIOUS!" For a week at least I had been feeling like I was having two and had talked about it with friends and family. In fact this morning I said to Andrew that I thought we were having two and he said that he was pretty sure it was just one. Needless to say that when I called him immediately after he didn't believe me. He said that until he sees some proof he won't believe....really I just think he is in shock. He is the sole provider for our family so I am sure he is feeling the pressure.
Anyhow, that is it. My due date is May 4th but she said that she would be surprised if I lasted past the 20th of April. Thanks for letting me blab. I am excited and scared all at the same time.

WOW!!! Are there many twins in your family? That is very exciting! And nerve-racking! Good luck with everything. I look forward to updates! How are you feeling? I hope that you are well. When is Emma's birthday? I can't remember.
Samantha and this new baby will only be around 16 1/2 months apart.
WOW!!! I am speechless on all accounts. CONGRATS on expecting and on twins!!
Initially I was really sick. It is starting to get to where I can manage it. Emma is 14 months so she will be between 20-21 months when the babies are born.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Are you kidding me??? How do you feel about that? At first I thought you were just kidding...really...wow. That's awesome! You're going to beat me to 5! How's Juila? I miss her...is she still your doctor? You'll have to tell her hi for me.
OH MY GOSH! i can't believe you are having twins. If anyone can handle it I know you can...I couldn't :) CONGRATS!
Well, Andrews got some "strong swimmers" and you must have some pretty cute little eggs :) My sister started out with two boys and she's still alive! So that's good news. Congratulations and keep us all posted on thier genders, how you're feeling, etc etc. Wow, well done, honey!

I just heard on Thursday that you were having twins, from Alison! That is sooo fun, scary of course but really fun! I am so excited for you! Do you mind if I put you in my friends list? I like to see what my fellow mothers are doing ")
Ok, so you don't know who I am, but I saw your tag line on Carrie's page and it got my attention. I have 9 month old twins and just wanted to offer a chance to talk or answer any questions you may have along the way. You are in for such fun and a wonderful blessing! Congrats!

Feel free to ask any questions, anytime! The only advice I can offer about the rib pain is if your OB is ok with you seeing a physical therapist, there is one in SLC who specializes in pregnancy and I was having to go into her every week and have my ribs put in starting at about 32 weeks and having to wear a belt to keep them in place (as much as possible!) but I also had alot of rib pain that actually turned out to be my gallbladder that I had removed 2 weeks after they were born. I though I was very careful about my diet and fats, but pregnancy changes everything with your body! lol
Congratulations! That's so exciting. What a hand full you will have. :)
