Superhero turns 5!

Gehrig, the lover of all things "super", has turned one year older. He is my emotionally charged little man. Luckily with his growth in years has come maturity. The angry Hulk doesn't appear very much nowadays. So the tantrums are far and few between. He has finally accepted that like Clark Kent he MUST wear his glasses. In fact he just got a new pair of glasses that he dubs his Harry Potter glasses. He and Dad picked them out and he worked for 2 weeks to earn them. He saves the day like Spiderman whenever his sister is crying or needs a friend to play with. He really is "SUPER" and I hope his birthday is incredible.

A couple of days ago we took him and a couple of his friends ice skating to celebrate his upcoming birthday. It was fun to see them all start off with their kung-fu grip on the wall and then to gradually try to skate on their own. To have friends and family there made it really special too.
