What in the world have you been doing with your life?

Do you ever think that? Recently I have been amazed by some of my friends accomplishments and all the things that they "know". I have never been a really awesome cook or baker. I don't know how to sew without pulling my hair out. Not to mention that I don't know how to knit or crochet. I don't play one single instrument (I can't even sing on key - those who have sat next to me at church know that one). I have no idea what is "new" on the radio...okay that one really isn't that important but if my husband who didn't even listen to the "regular" radio stations when we first got married now knows more than me...it is a definite blow to my self-esteem. So, the list is actually quite long but I am not going to go on. Instead I want to post what I want to accomplish and I hope that you will comment with your own list.

1. I MUST learn how to cook (and not from a box or cook book)...my poor husband.

2. I will learn to play at least one instrument...even if it is just singing on key for once.

3. I will actually grow a garden (next year since it is kind of late- AGH! I am already procrastinating) and NOT kill them.

4. I will graduate with my Bachelors...some day...in something. (Maybe I should have said: "I will decide what my major is. :) )

5. I will go on a mission with my husband for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

6. I will conquer my fear of needle and thread and make something that I am really proud of and not just tired of unpicking...

Okay, now it is your turn. What do you want to learn or do?

Cool! There are a lot of things I want to learn. Like how to play piano and also how to properly ride a horse... :)
Those I will have to do later when I have a block of time to take lessons. :)

I would love to learn how to plant and keep a garden too! I can wing the sewing and piano thing if I have to. Other than that I just want to lose weight and be happy with myself!

Here is my list of things you can do:
1. Calm a tense situation
2. Make quilts (I've seen them so I know you can do it)
3. Make yummy dinners
4. Make your family feel loved
5. Make your sister laugh so hard her stomach hurts
6. Decorate your house in the cutest way
7. Produce darling children

Do you want me to go on?

Plus you're the only person I've see that can pull of super short hair and not look like a total boy. Love ya!
